      Accomodation

We started looking for privately rented accommodation early to see what the pricing was like for different areas around London and where would be the best place for all of us to get to work and uni. We used apps such as Rightmove and zoopla, and contacted a few agencies about viewings. The agencies then take it upon themselves to help you and I got lots of calls about different properties. We made sure to ask the right questions such as about the area, deposit amounts etc. And eventually found our flat. The only problems we’ve had are with our building management and maintenance, they have been slow and unproductive in some circumstances so it’s a good idea to find out about your landlord or management company before hand and make note of any problems with the accommodation at the very beginning such as, broken appliances, or damages caused by previous tenants.

During the process of applying for student loan, there was a part where it asked if i wanted my detail to go to the university - this allowed the university to check my application and grant me with a bursary.

League table rankings

Here's where this university ranks in the three main league tables (where available), which are calculated using a combination of stats that they each weight in different ways. They’re a handy guide but don’t offer the full picture – just because a university is top (or bottom) of the league tables doesn’t mean it is (or isn’t) the right choice for you.
