About this course
This is a practical course which aims to develop creative craft skills in visual storytelling.
At its core, the course imbeds current discussions on film and screen practices within todays’ filmmaking culture. This is all taught through practical assignments that can be exhibited across different media platforms preparing graduates to engage as global practitioners, whilst contributing to the developing creative industries, and the new ways in which film is now being consumed by audiences.
Industry craft skills are taught through production and post-production techniques supported with sustained access to industry standard production equipment and post-production softwares. This course is a four year degree that includes additional academic content designed to support learners who may not have the academic qualifications to join the three year full-time degree.

Assessment methods
The course is 90% practical and as such involves a lot of production led activities in its approach to teaching and learning. All the coursework will involve production elements which are assessed in relation to your creative skills and ability to engage audiences in your storytelling techniques.
