If you have the ability but not the qualifications required to apply for our three-year BA Hons Marketing Management programme, this four-year programme will provide you with another route.It begins with a foundation year that will give you a solid grounding from which to progress to degree-level study. You will gain a thorough introduction to business and marketing, and an understanding of ethics, enterprise and leadership. You will also learn essential computing, communication and academic writing skills, and how to manage your studies independently.After your first year, you will study the same courses as those on our BA Hons Marketing Management programme. You will have the opportunity to gain exemptions from Chartered Institute of Marketing, Market Research Society and Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing examinations.

A lot of the jobs are in London, but graduates don't just go to work in advertising agencies — all sorts of industries do their own marketing these days, and with the rise of digital and mobile technology, a lot of marketing is done in quite innovative ways using a wide range of methods. Common industries (apart from advertising and PR) include recruitment, online retail, higher education, banking and IT.
