Nottingham Business School created this distinctive course to offer a unique work-based learning experience, which will enhance your employability and enable you to have impact in the workplace.
This course will enable you to develop your self-confidence, self-reliance and independence and enable you to take responsibility for your own learning and career development. It will help develop your professionalism and ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.

Modules

Year One: Full-time study at Nottingham Business School. Five core modules: Environment, Business and Marketing; Business Metrics and Financial Management; Managing Organising Working; Realities of Enterprise and Business; Developing Learning Practice and Employability.

Year Two: Working full-time in placement company. Taught elements are delivered via blocks of study. Modules include: Business Models and Strategy; Stakeholders, Funding and Value; Human Resourcing; Systems and Processes; Comparative Problem Analysis; Managing Learning Practice and Employability.

Final Year: Working full-time in placement company, and study blocks during the year. Modules include: Thinking, Leading and Managing Strategically; Managing Strategy and Change; Business Management Thesis; Group Development Project; Leading, Learning Practice and Career.
