At Keele, studying a combined honours degree will include some modules from both of the single honours degrees. In this case, your programme will be made up of a combination of modules from both Business Management and Computer Science.

The popular Business Management and Computer Science combined programme brings together two cutting edge fields of study and an opportunity to learn skills in information and business. Under the supervision of internationally recognised tutors, you will learn the fundamentals of business management as well as underpinning theories of software, hardware and computing technologies. You’ll explore concepts and debates in organisational behaviour and management as well as understanding technology to solve a wide range of problems. With round the clock access to computing labs, based on Microsoft Windows and Linux, you will gain confidence in a wide range of applications and networking software. With a range of optional modules on offer, you have the chance to reflect on what’s happening in industry and learn about exciting developments in artificial intelligence, computer game development, human-computer interaction and web technologies.

Graduates from this programme are able to work with technical, theoretical and real life business problems and have a range of career options in information technology, systems and in management. You’ll graduate with a wide range of computing skills plus a highly developed approach to problem solving. Many of our graduates move into employment that is directly computing-related, and a substantial number go on to study for higher degrees (90% of Keele Computer Science graduates go on to work or study six months after graduating, Unistats, 2017). Recent Keele graduates have gone to work for companies as diverse as Apple, BAE Systems, Barclays, Capgemini, EA Games, Experian, Microsoft and the Ministry of Defence.
