**INTRODUCTION**

Welcome to College of Esports BA (Hons) Esports Coaching & Management course which focuses on developing your Talent, Resilience and Identity in the context of the exciting and international world of esports through our unique TRI-Curriculum approach.

Your course examines esports from several perspectives, namely competitive coaching and development, sports psychology and player welfare.

**WHY STUDY THIS COURSE?**

This exciting degree combines your enthusiasm for esports and gaming with coaching and management; allowing you to learn through the lens of your passion.

Your modules have been carefully selected to create an enjoyable and engaging journey as well as challenging for you as a student and combines best-practice coaching knowledge from traditional elite sport and business.

This blend will provide a strong foundation in all that is coaching and management within the context of esports and ensure that via your TRI-Curriculum, you will be able to apply your knowledge through work experience within the industry from an early stage.

Your modules such as Fundamentals of Esports Coaching and Foundation of Teaching and Learning allow you to put your skills into practice from year one.

Importantly, the ability to vocationally apply your knowledge into the esports industry from your first year will help to create a strong personal portfolio of evidence and track record of your work and achievements to support employability.

Thus, we will work together on your exit strategy from early in your degree programme.

As you progress into your second year, our new academic areas such as Player Psychology in Esports and Movement Science for Esports dovetail perfectly with the more traditional subjects such as Esports, Regulation & Risk and your Inclusion module.

They complement with Esports & Social Enterprises, plus your learnings from year one to be able to further stretch your options and opportunities to work and engage with the esports sector.

As your journey matures into your final year, our new subjects we have developed namely High Performance Esports Coaching and Player Management Welfare will pull together your knowledge in preparation for your exciting career.

This progression between these two accredited environments provides you with confidence as the current custodian of your students’ future.
