Course description

The course will provide graduates who are ready to use their skills in web technologies and web design for local and international companies. In particular, they will be conversant with aspects of computer-based interactive multimedia, including practical creative skills and theoretical awareness of the complex interplay of social, economic, psychological, technical and aesthetic issues underpinning the subject.

Modules

Years 1 and 2: 12 core modules covering multimedia authoring; visual programming; imaging; design application; professional issues. Year 3: Opportunity to undertake a year's work experience in the UK, Ireland, the USA, Europe or elsewhere leading to Diploma in Industrial or Area Studies. Year 4: Introduction to more advanced multimedia concepts; dissertation.

There are a lot of computing courses out there, and they vary a lot in content, modules and the way they work with employers, so individual courses can have very different outcomes.
