Business and management

You will study key aspects of topics core to Business such as Management, Accounting, Economics, HR and Law. You will apply your knowledge and understanding of key theories to practical projects and in the work environment as part of the work based placement module. This will help to prepare you for both the world of work and also for further study. You will be taught in our brand new centre, FutureSkills, close to the University of Salford MediaCity campus and a short bus ride away from the Peel Park campus. You will be taught by a small number of tutors with Business backgrounds in small groups. Although you will study at FutureSkills, you can access all main University services and facilities such as student life, the library and accommodation. On successful completion of the course you have the option of applying for BSC top up programmes (studying for one more year for an Honours Degree) or immediately pursuing career opportunities.
