Years 2 and 3: Core units include environmental sciences project; research skills; geosciences field course, geological field skills; options include; soil environments and processes; palaeoclimatology; sedimentology; hydrology and hydrogeology; applied geophyiscs; volcanoes and tectonics; geographical information systems; mathematics i and ii; climate change; geochemical cycling; envrionmental lay and policy (EU and UK); natural hazards; energy resources; fossil fuels; energy resource managment.
