Course description

Develop a solid understanding of education and the impact it has, from early years to lifelong learning, from both a home and international perspective. This course is underpinned by social justice, with an emphasis on psychology, sociology and social policy. You can tailor your degree by choosing one of three optional specialist pathways in Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), or Career Development. You will have the opportunity to apply to study aboard, and go on international fieldtrips - previous students have visited Morocco, The Gambia and Kenya.

This means they already have jobs when they start their course, and a lot of graduates continue to study, whilst working, when they complete their courses.
