Facilities management

Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to enter directly onto their chosen Honours degree programme. How are our workplaces constructed and managed? How do legal and economic constraints impact on our built environment? Explore all this and more on this fascinating degree course. Facilities Managers co-ordinate all the services within a building, from its construction to ICT systems, workspaces and energy efficiency. Our degree has been restructured to keep pace with a changing and progressive construction industry, and to meet the new demands this places on the Facilities Manager as they take responsibility for a broader spectrum of sustainable facilities.

Our placement tutors have close links with industry and can work with you to ensure that you get the skills and current knowledge that employers are looking for.

Our graduates are sought after and will work as facilities management service providers, commercial organisations such as financial services companies, hotels, retail chains, airports and public sector organisations such as local authorities and the health service.
