excluding General Studies. A science A level is preferred. For Biology, Chemistry and Physics A levels, we require a pass in the practical element. GCSE Biology and Chemistry (or Dual Award Science) at grade C or 4 required if not offered at A or AS level.

45 level 3 credits including chemistry and biological sciences, with at least 30 level 3 credits at Merit. Business Studies is desirable.

About 70% of the UK's land area is given over to agriculture, so this is a subject representing an important part of the country's economy. Typical starting jobs for graduates in agriculture include agricultural science, farming and farm management, but graduates also go into other areas, such as the horticulture trade, auctioneering and conservation.
