Nightlife
Nightlife in Sheffield is amazing! Such a good laugh and all fairly close together. Security is good with a strong police presence. Student deals offered almost everywhere.

Nightlife
There are some really 'alt-y' places, like Night Kitchen with techno and reggae bangers for indie kids drinking Red Stripe. There are loads of small music venues like The Rocking Chair and Leadmill.

What students say about living in Sheffield...

Living Here
I live in Ecclesall. It's about 30 minutes away from uni, but it's a nice neighbourhood. The reason I live here is because it's cheap and next to my work. It's on a main bus route to town.

Living Here
In Sheffield you have to start looking for accommodation very early. Letting season starts on 1 November, meaning houses go quickly. This is an issue, especially in first year, as you can’t guarantee you’ll be friends with the same people a year later!
