What students say about Newcastle's...

City Life
A fab place to live. There is so much going on all the time. The buildings are beautiful and there is always somewhere to go to study.
Newcastle University student
Newcastle is without a doubt the best night out I've ever had. There really is something for everyone, from cheesy pop classics at Flares to R&B nights at Tup Tup.
Second year student at Northumbria University, 2016
Nights out are incredibly cheap, as are taxis - usually about £4 from town. The '3 trebles for £5' deal is amazing. There are lots of alternative nights for people who don't like drinking.

What students say about living in Newcastle...

Living Here
Jesmond is a popular student area. It’s close to the uni and city centre (10-minute walk) and also five minutes from a metro station, as well as a large park (Jesmond Dene). The area is safe.

Living Here
There's not a lot to do in Sandyford. You would have to walk to Jesmond or the city centre, or drive to supermarkets. But it is close to Uni and the town centre.
