City Life
Hip and quirky, there's definitely a sense of 'walking to the beat of your own drum' throughout the city.

Don't underestimate The Lanes: great little pubs run amok down there. The Fountain Head does amazing roast dinners with a fireplace - ideal for cold winter days.

A very established LGBT area in Kemptown with great bars, clubs and drag nights. [Also] you have chain clubs like Pryzm where the sports teams go on Wednesdays.

What students say about living in Brighton...

Living Here
Moulsecoomb is popular with students as it's next to the university. There are many student houses in the area so it doesn’t feel too residential. It’s very well connected to town, with a train station or bus links, but it’s also super quick to cycle.

Living Here
I live in Hanover by The Level. We have amazing sunset views. There’s a selection of pubs within a few minutes' walk and so many just outside Hanover. An Uber or taxi into town works out cheap when splitting it and costs around £6 depending on the time.

Feast on cheap-but-cheerful Japanese food at Pompoko.
