Typical offer is 96-112 UCAS tariff points in an Access to Higher Education Diploma to include a minimum of a pass in a Biological Science module at Level 3.

Typical offer is 96-112 UCAS tariff points in an IB Diploma, to include a minimum of two Highers at H3 or above, including one in a Biological Science. This must also include Maths and English Language at a minimum of Standard Level S3 if equivalent GCSE's have not been obtained.

Develop your expertise in racehorse performance analysis and rehabilitation. Benefit from excellent links with the racing industry and gain experience in our commercial equine therapy and rehabilitation centre on campus. Youll experience the latest scientific approaches to thoroughbred training and rehabilitation post injury, learning how to manage genetics, health and training for optimum performance and success.Gloucestershire, home to the world-famous Gold Cup Festival, boasts some of the worlds most prestigious training centres. Live business briefs, field trips to well-known racing yards and work experience will strengthen your understanding and help to prepare you for an exciting career. Recent graduate destinations include business, training, therapy and rehabilitation with the British Horseracing Authority, the Irish National Stud, and Thirsk and York racecourses.

Modules

The first year of the programme aims to establish a foundation knowledge and understanding of how the
racehorse operates including explaining how functional anatomy and physiology, nutrition, genetics and
health combine to underpin performance and success. International racehorse management and the
different facets that make up the global racing industry will also prove pivotal.
