Must include either Human Biology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Science, or Science. Subjects excluded General Studies and Critical Thinking A maximum of three subjects are considered. Other 6-unit qualifications can be considered in lieu of one or two A-level subjects.

AS

A,A-E,E

A maximum of two AS-level subjects can be considered along with either two A-levels, two 6-unit BTEC Subsidiary Diplomas/ OCR Cambridge Technical Introductory Diplomas or a BTEC 12-unit National Diploma/ OCR Cambridge Technical Diploma. To obtain a minimum of 120 points Must include either Human Biology, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Science, or Science Subjects excluded - General Studies and Critical Thinking

60 credits overall. Minimum of 45 credits at level 3. The remainding 15 credits can be taken at either level 2 or 3. Within the level 3 credits, a minimum of 30 must be achieved at merit or distinction including 18 in science subjects with 6 credits in physics. Must have maths and english GCSE at 4 or above prior to application. GCSE equivilences only from Access Courses achieved prior to 2014, except for 2 Year Part Time Courses started within the 12/13 academic year. 12 Credits must be achieved at Level 2 + and certificate must state 'GCSE Equivalent. GCSE Mathematics and English language at grade C or above or equivalent qualifications must be achieved prior to application. GCSE science is not required for Access students.

GCSE 5 subjects at grade 4 must include mathematics, English language and science subject, Equivalent qualifications are not accepted. Must have been achieved at the point of application.

Diagnostic radiographers provide an essential service, producing high-quality images of organs, limbs and other body parts to help diagnose a range of diseases. You will work with patients of all ages, assisting the healthcare team to determine the appropriate treatment and care. Covering a wide variety of techniques, from plain radiography to computed tomography. Our accreditation from the Society of Radiographers (SoR) ensures our course remains fresh and relevant, and you will also have the eligibility to apply for registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Our course will equip you to work both in the UK and abroad, in a multitude of roles.
