Bu sefydlu Senedd Cymru ac ychwanegu mwy o bwerau yn ddiweddarach ynghyd a Deddf yr Iaith Gymraeg yn sbardun i'r angen am raddedigion o safon uchel - unigolion sydd sy'n gymwys i ymuno â gweithlu proffesiynol, ac i weithio'n hyderus trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg a'r Saesneg. Oherwydd hynny, mae'n amser hynod gyffrous i astudio Cymraeg yn y brifysgol. Wrth ddewis astudio'r cwrs BA Cymraeg Proffesiynol, byddi'n ymuno â chwrs Cymraeg arloesol sydd yn canolbwyntio ar sgiliau ymarferol a galwedigaethol sy'n addas ar gyfer y gweithle proffesiynol yn y Gymru gyfoes a'r tu hwnt. Heddiw, mae cyflogwyr, yn ogystal â darpar fyfyrwyr a rhieni, yn chwilio am radd ‘safon aur’ yn y Gymraeg. Dyma’r radd honno.

**Pam astudio Cymraeg Proffesiynol yn Aber?**

- Bywyd Cymdeithasol Cymraeg Byrlymus - Yn Aberystwyth cei fyw trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg a mwynhau'r elfen gymdeithasol sydd i'r gymuned Gymraeg yma: gweithgareddau UMCA (Undeb Myfyrwyr Cymraeg Aberystwyth), neuadd Pantycelyn, teithiau rygbi, côr Pantycelyn, a mwy.

- Boddhad Myfyrwyr - Yn yr arolwg cenedlaethol diweddar o fodlonrwydd myfyrwyr, roedd 100% o foddhad cyffredinol ym maes Astudiaethau Cymraeg ac roedd 94% o foddhad cyffredinol yn yr Adran (NSS 2020).

- Y Llyfrgell Genedlaethol - Yn ogystal â'r adnoddau helaeth sydd gan y Brifysgol, mae'r Adran ar stepen drws y Llyfrgell Genedlaethol - llyfrgell hawlfraint sydd â thros 6 miliwn o lyfrau, mapiau a phrintiadau ac fe gei ymaelodi'n rhad ac am ddim!

Dyma grynodeb o'r hyn y mae'n bosibl y byddi'n ei astudio yn ystod y cynllun gradd tair blynedd.

**Blwyddyn 1**
Yn y flwyddyn gyntaf byddi'n astudio'r modiwl Cyflwyniad i Gymraeg Proffesiynol. Fel y mae'r enw yn ei awgrymu, mae'r modiwl hwn yn rhoi cyflwyniad i'r maes. Byddi'n dysgu rhychwant o sgiliau megis cyfieithu ar y pryd, sgiliau gweinyddol, siarad cyhoeddus, golygu a marchnata. Ti a'r myfyrwyr eraill fydd yn comisiynu ac yn golygu'r gwaith.

**Blwyddyn 2 a 3**
Yn yr ail a'r drydedd flwyddyn byddi'n dilyn pedwar modiwl Cymraeg Proffesiynol:
Y Gymraeg yn y Gweithle - Modiwl profiad gwaith yw hwn; Trosi ac Addasu - Modiwl cyfieithu; Bro a Bywyd - trafod twristiaeth a threftadaeth lenyddol; Prosiect Hir - cyfle i weithio ar brosiect ymchwil gwreiddiol ym maes Cymraeg Proffesiynol. Cei ddewis o blith amrywiaeth eang o fodiwlau eraill yr Adran yn ogystal.

**Sut y bydda i'n cael fy addysgu?**
Drwy gyfuniad o ddarlithoedd traddodiadol, seminarau a dulliau dysgu arloesol eraill. Mae’r grwpiau yn llai a’r awyrgylch yn fwy anffurfiol yn y seminarau, er mwyn meithrin trafodaeth fwy agored.

**Sut y bydda i'n cael fy asesu?**
Mae gwaith y myfyrwyr yn cael ei asesu drwy arholiadau, drwy asesu cyson, a thrwy osod a marcio traethodau ac ymarferion.
