The libraries are ok, but there does seem to be limited resources. Our facilty librarian is very helpful.Report

I'm quite good at budgeting and been lucky in the sense I get a lot of family support as I am on the minimum maintenance loan (which doesn't even cover cost of halls accommodation). Small tesco in the mall but queues are normally huge! Didn't get a part time job but know a few people managed to get bar work or checkout staff at supermarkets. Text books are very expensive however you can get a bursary even if youre on a high income so that helps. Some transport more expensive than others, book trains in advance to get best offers and use railcard.×
Poor arrangement of Timetable annuallyReport
Good local supermarket such as tesco or Iceland.Report

I believe there to be a wide range of university accommodation, from recommended agencies to several different options for halls of residence. Personally I have opted for my own accommodation as I have an idea of areas and what sort of money I can pay. But I have stayed in shared accomodation in Luton and found it very poor standards and little or no support from agencies once you get in there. So watch out.×
Student union is only focused on drinking and partying. I don't drink and there is very little for me to do or take part in.Report

League table rankings
Here's where this university ranks in the three main league tables (where available), which are calculated using a combination of stats that they each weight in different ways. They’re a handy guide but don’t offer the full picture – just because a university is top (or bottom) of the league tables doesn’t mean it is (or isn’t) the right choice for you.
Where it's located
We’ve pinpointed the key sites where teaching takes place. Check in the smallprint of the course you’re interested in to see where exactly you’d be based, especially if there are multiple locations spread across a wide area.
