The Luton campus does not have its own sports hall/ gym facilities and you have to walk about 20 mins out of town to get to the facilities they have a partnership with. There are other gyms available in the town though and if you live in the brand new accommodation you get gym facilities in the building. If you join a sports team you will have to walk to the facilties for training etc but if you really want to be part of a sports society this wouldn't put you off. The newest part of the building has a coffee area on each floor so there is plenty of spaces to sit and/or meet friends and there is one more coffee area in the building. The outdoor space is limited but has been expanding over the past year. There is one decent area you can sit outside on the campus, however there is a park just 2 minutes walk from the campus that has a couple of picnic benches and a big field. The town centre is also being developed and they have just put in new benches in the main areas. The SU bar is also quite new and has lots of events. There is a small dance floor area where there is sometimes poker tables, table football and a pool table. There are comfy sofas as well as tables with chairs and you can get drinks from the bar or the coffee area next to the bar.
