Student Union
There is a range of societies available to students and constant events held by the student union ensure an endless stream of entertainment if you wanted it. They are very active on social media and are constantly working with students to represent their issues to the university. Truly, I can't find any fault with the student union. I do not drink and am unable to say much in the way of bars, clubs or pubs, however there are plenty of things to do and events held that do not involve drinking at all.

Support
The support is there if you were to need it and is clearly signposted by faculty in lectures and around the university. There is a sense of approachability about the year academic lead who makes sure to communicate with students every week about any developments. The lecturers seem happy to answer any queries in and out of lectures. Welfare-wise, there is an on campus therapy service that is free of charge is someone wanted to use it.

Facilities
Study centres and libraries are almost always full which makes trying to find spaces to actually study quite difficult. However, the facilities available are fantastic.

Overall
While the University boasts a lot of infrastructure in place to help its students, in reality this support is incredibly difficult to navigate. Staff are confused, people are constantly being redirected from one place to another when in need of administrative support which is unnecessarily unhelpful when trying to navigate University life. Online materials are found in folders, folders and more subfolders, making it a chore to find a simple paper to read. The staff are excellent though, incredibly insightful in their comments and always ready to help where necessary. These are flaws of the university itself which has founded itself on an image of academic research and prosperity, whilst making it increasingly frustrating and overwhelming for students to try and implement this themselves. The institution of the university needs fundamental changes to be made.

Course
I have an inherent bias against the timetable due to travelling a greater distance than most and cannot be considered reliable as an objective critique on the timetabling as a 'typical' student, however something I will comment on is the occurrence of timetable clashes and the organisation of different lectures consecutively with little regard for the distance between buildings. The course structure flowed to begin with as the anatomy content coincided with the case of the week, however towards the end of the semester, there was some deviance. There is an expectation for a very large amount of content to be learned in a short amount of time, for example, one day to learn all of the anatomy if you did not begin the weekend before which isn't possible to do if you work the weekend. It is possible to learn the anatomy in one day, but it left me feeling behind with regard to other aspects of the case, though this can be expected considering the nature of the course. The content itself is interesting and is presented in an engaging manner. The quality of the lecturers differed, some were good, some not as much. That is down to personal preference a lot of the time. One thing I do appreciate is the lectures and slides being made available on the online platform.

Facilities
The facilities that I have utilised have all been exactly what I expected. I do not spend much time on campus as I prefer a familiar environment, however the libraries have an abundance of space and computers for every type of study. The library in the health building allows for subject specific learning. The availability of the anatomy room is invaluable in aiding learning, as well as the simulation centre which resembles a hospital ward.
