The night life at the student union is pretty repetitive and not very interesting. Other Uni's get famous people to turn up or do a dj set and we don't. It also doesn't help that there is no where else to go in Wycombe apart from Pure (the only night club) or pubs. For the amount of people at the Uni the venue cannot even hold half of the students. There have been times where i've qued to get to the front and be told its reached its capacity. Waste of a night. The Uni needs to move onto the e-submission system. One of my modules uses it and it saves so much hassle of getting to the uni to print it all off and get it in on time when you can send it in as soon as youv'e finished it. Especially helpful as i commute and having to drive 25miles to hand work in is a lot of effort. The lunchtime food can also be improved, it gets boring having burgers and jacket potatoes all the time. Parking is a big issue for me, because of the uni's location the nearest residential parking is far away and up a massive hill. i have to park in the Eden, which can costs me upto 10 a day. Quite a lot of students commute, even if you live in Wycombe you might still have to drive to get to uni so it would be nice to have somewhere to park, Wycombe isn't the safest area (various drug and knive crimes have been reported recently) so no one particularly wants to walk alone at night.
